Australia Day in Whistler

Australia Day in Whistler is probably one the craziest things you will ever experience. I have lived every Aus day on a beach with my mates and a BBQ but this year I found out that Whistler sure knows how to turn it up a notch.

Waking up still drunk and with not much sleep from the night before definitely set the tone for the day.

It felt like every Aussie in Whistler under the age of 25 headed up Blackcomb mountain to the Terrain Garden to get pissed, party, snowboard, throw snowballs at the punters attempting backies and some how managing to make it down the mountain with zero fatalities!

Whistler Birthday shenanigans

This year I turned the ripe age of 24 and to celebrate we did the most irresponsible thing we could think off...throw a ridiculous common room party with enough party supplies to kill an elephant.

With triple j's hottest 100 blaring and the drinks flowing, I gotta say it's been the best birthday I've had yet! 

Canada: Wednesday Wax Day

Every Wednesday staff housing house advisors open up the wax room and everyone with enough patience to wax their own boards gets together to give their board some lovin'!

This Wednesday we did just that, except my camera came along.
