18th Biennale of Sydney

So if you're poor like me, into some free city fun and don't mind feeling like you're trapped on a haunted island then you should probably get yourself to wharf 6 at darling harbour, hop on the free ferry and get yourself to Cockatoo Island!

It's the 18th Biennale which means Sydney siders can roam and play amongst some of the weirdest art installations yet, don't miss out its only on for another few weeks!

Mexicano Monday Fiesta

What better way to start a week than with a good ole fashion Mexican fiesta!

Dinner for 30, sangria, burritos, Mexican chili fries, sombreros, dirty moes, good tunes, great company, so hungover on Tuesday, fuck it!

You know when the post arrives before noon it's gonna be something worth opening.

Ordered this fine piece a few weeks back and it's arrived just in time for this weekends snow trip.

GoPro make the worlds most versatile cameras, used by hardcore sport heads to filmmaker enthusiasts and the HD Hero 2 has impressed them all!

I got the outdoor edition and it came with a whole bunch of mounts and waterproof housing to make any adventure easy to capture, can't wait to use it!

Groupie Love

Rock and rollers love girls and lets face it we love rock and rollers! No matter who you are, what you worship, your morals or opinions every girl has a soft spot for a dude with a bad attitude, long hair and a guitar and back in the 1970's this obsession for rock stars was at its peak. The groupie scene was pumping and saw models and actresses shy away from the lime light and towards the glamorous and fast life of rock!

Tight arse

If you're anything like me then you will appreciate this post. I can't fucking stand jeans, unless they are super skinny, super high-waisted, vintage and ridiculously overpriced I don't want to even try them on.

Tights on the other hand.. I own more of these babies then I do underwear and I'm not a grot so that's a lot of tights!

From my old faithful blackmilk beauties to my overworn-seen-everywhere supre printed leggings, the only way you can go wrong with tights is if you are morbidly obese and don't mind rocking a moose knuckle.

Soundwave lineup is out and it's delish!

Ahhhhh yes there comes a time every year where skanks, metal heads, pimple faced teens and old school rockers get together to show respect to some of the music greats, Soundwave!

This morning the official lineup was released and once again they have impressed all walks of life and lovers of music. Regardless of the lineup i have gone every year since it first started in aus but this lineup had me weak at the knees, holy mother of God i can not wait!

We no speak Americano

I may not be American but I don't mind wearing their flag...

Once upon a time when the Sex Pistols and British punk was the music of choice the British flag was worn as an association to the music, but now that American pop and rock stars have climbed the ladder stars and stripes are taking over.

The flag is worn all over the world and it's bizzare to see it being worn more often then our own flag, maybe one day when Aussie artists step up their game our flag will be worn overseas but for now it's all about the stars and stripes.

The American flag can be seen as a patriotic, music influenced, Harley Davison-esc symbol or in a more sinister light it can associated with mind control, evilness, war and power. However you want to see it or wear it I think the flag fashion fad will be sticking around for a long time to come.

Project X

Just recently two of our good mates moved into a decent sized house in Revesby and since then it's become a party pad for the gang. Considering we're all saving for eurotrips the weekly house parties that go down are not only next level out of control but never cost a dime! This Saturday was no exception with a roaring bonfire, good tunes, good mates, flowing grog and a diy strobe it was a perfect beginning to an epic weekend. Thanks again boys!
