Soundwave kicked off 2 weeks ago and if you frothed on the lineup as much as I did; with Metallica, Stone Sour, Slayer, Bullet for my Valentine, A Perfect Circle and plenty others you can understand why I went twice.
Metallica was probably one of the most incredible performances I've ever seen, in both Sydney and Melbourne! Bullet brought a standard crowd of angry teens and sounded a lot more together than their last tour, APC felt like I was watching history (considering they haven't played together in years), Stone Sour's Corey Taylor made you want to quit your life and become a groupie and Slayer...actually turned up this year, avoiding another metal head riot.
Not much can be said about Blink, I've wanted to see them since I was 16 and I wasn't at all impressed. Bring me the Horizon, Amity Affliction and Motion City were fun and sounded great and Mindless Self Indulgence was electric as ever!
All up it was an incredible tour with once in a life time acts to see.
Oh and I did a stupid amount of shopping, Melbourne sends you broke.
